1- Marketing & Social Media Manager


One Direction Clothing LTD is looking for a talented and hardworking Marketing & Social Media Manager to join our friendly & growing team.  Based in Fairlop, East London- the role will involve working in several vital areas of the business which directly affect our sales & branding. 


  • Plan witty & engaging content for our social media channels (which currently have a combined following of 200,000+).  We expect you to come up with new & exciting ideas on how to improve our social outreach and action them
  • Keep up to date and informed about any new social media trends & adapt accordingly
  • Respond to social media posts and messages in a timely & on brand manner
  • Managing your own content calendar and communicating this with all other members of the team 
  • Working closely with bloggers and constantly searching for new and exciting influencers to work with
  • Assist with website copywriting, proofing and updating as needed. Ensuring that all copy is in line with relevant SEO keywords
  • Writing press releases and distributing them to the relevant people
  • Frequently updating our blog pages with new content
  • Helping to plan frequent photo-shoots, assisting with art direction and working on set during the day
  • Attending relevant events and representing the brands successfully
  • Competitor research- you must keep a constant ear to the ground an report on any emerging trends that we should be working towards

The ideal candidate:

  • Must show initiative- We are a small and busy team, therefore it is essential that staff can prioritize their own time & workload without the need to be micro-managed
  • Organisation- you’ll be carrying out a number of different tasks that you’ll be expected to keep on top of. Candidates should be able to organize themselves and said tasks efficiently
  • Must demonstrate outstanding Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of key analytic tools (such as Instagram insights, Google analytics) a bonus
  • An understanding of SEO advantageous (further training can be given)
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft programs (excel, word)

2- Marketplace & Customer Service Assistant


You will be responsible for managing the customer service for our retail operations; answering customer queries via email & phone, managing returns, processing refunds and creating credit notes for our in house system.


As well as this, you will be looking after our Amazon & Ebay accounts, listing products successfully, monitoring incoming messages/ queries and responding in a timely manner. 


We are ideally looking for an individual who is tech savvy with previous experience in a customer service based role. 


Applicants with prior knowledge of selling on eBay/ Amazon is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. 

Role will be based in our office in Fairlop (East of Stratford on the central line) and will be a full-time permanent position.

Main responsibilities include:


The Role

  • Assisting retail customers with order enquiries via email and telephone
  • Providing an impeccable level of customer service following the tone of the brands
  • Work with warehouse team to resolve any order discrepancies
  • Review and maintain orders through the order management system
  • Manage incoming customer returns including refunds
  • Liaising with marketplace customers via email/telephone and resolving any issues
  • Creating effective product listings on Amazon & eBay (full training given)
  • Daily maintenance of our marketplace platforms
  • Competitor research to see who else is selling our products/ how we can improve sales
  • Working to deadlines for a variety of different tasks and priorities
  • General assistance with other ad-hoc tasks when required

Desired skills:
  • Strong IT literacy essential
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Previous experience in the fashion sector advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience of selling on Amazon, eBay and/ or websites beneficial but not essential
